Since 1951, Shorty’s BBQ has been part of South Florida’s story. For 75 years, generations of families have gathered around our tables to enjoy great BBQ, celebrate special moments, and create memories that last a lifetime.
As we prepare to say goodbye to our iconic US 1 Dadeland location, we want to thank everyone who has been part of our journey.
Our Dadeland location’s last day of business will be Sunday, December 27, 2026.
But don’t worry — Shorty’s BBQ isn’t going anywhere! We’re still smoking, still serving, and still bringing you the BBQ you’ve loved for generations.
